Movement :)

I've been on the fence if I've been feeling the baby move or not... today I am no longer on that fence. Not sure if the baby just doesn't like these pants (the band isn't tight but it does sit right above my pubic bone) But I KNOW I've felt the little bugger while cooking Easter Dinner :) I'll take it :)

14 weeks today :)

I plan on using some more of her photos to show how big the baby is getting :) Its sort of surreal to me still there is something that big in me right now :) But I'm looking forward to hearing feeling her kicks :) (and for some reason I keep saying her so it probably means it's a boy, lol). 

Ultrasound

I went for an ultrasound today :)
The baby was measuring around 14 weeks but I'm being kept at 13 weeks. I did talk to my OB about my concerns and she said she had already planned on inducing me at 39 weeks so no worries about the dates being off :) So the babe will come around the 21st or sooner (if I go in labor on my own).

Everything looks good so yay! They did all sorts of measurements since the babe was situated nicely and they could see them all. In three weeks I see the OB again and then we will be scheduling the big ultrasound :)

Cerclage is in :)

Got to the hospital around 11, brought back to the OR around 1pm and out just after 2pm. Left the hospital around 4. I was put under general anesthesia rather than twilight, but all went well. 

(Add On -- I did have trouble the next few days with soreness due to the muscle relaxers in the meds they give you for general. I also had trouble with my breathing. But three days later and all pain has gone and breathing is getting better.)

13 weeks today.

Latest heartbeat video :) Taken last night so just before 13 weeks. Baby is now about the size of a peach :) 

13 weeks tomorrow

13 weeks is tomorrow. It's when some choose to start telling the world of their baby to be.

I'm still having issues wrapping my mind around that we are actually having another baby. I know I am, I even am pretty sure I'm starting feeling the little bugger, but I don't know when this will start to feel real to me. Someday it will, I guess worse case it will hit me in the face during labor right, lol.

Monday we are hopefully going to be going in for a cerclage, which is the step in pregnancy that says the baby should be viable (no miscarriage). We also enter the time of uncertainty. Will we have problems this time with my cervix? Will there be other trouble? Could we have another baby who has problems like Kaitlin? So many thoughts, so little time.

Another Blanket :)

I've had this one made for awhlie just needed to work in the ends. I've never done a big blanket with the fuzzy yarn before but I loved the green so i went with it :) I think I'm going to turn the hat into a frog hat later, but for now they will sit. This is the biggest I've made too, so this one will last the little bugger :)

Feeling Better :) (Hat)

Finally starting to feel better. I did go through a round of tests that I think came back fine since I haven't heard. I do still get shaky which to me is sugar issue, but orange juice or sugar fixes it so I guess it's not a huge deal. 

Here's some of the things I got so far for this wee one. Well very few I guess :) I have some bigger sleepers bought and some smaller ones ordered. Em was a summer baby and this one will be winter so most of it I can't really use. I do have a cute duck light snow suit type thing which will be great at first if we do any outside thing. But most of the other stuff is all summer or will be far too big. So new sleepers it is :) This one has one of those adorable patches on the butt that I LOVE so much :) hehehehe. 

This is a hat I made. I think it's going to the hospital with us, but there is still time to change my mind :) I also made a pair of slipper socks to match it and I have yarn enough to make mitts if I decide to :) 

10 week ultrasound :)

I love going to an office that can just do an ultrasound there on the spot :) hehehe I didn't know my OB's new office could! So surprise for me! Yay! The babes was doing all sorts of wiggling and tossing and just being cute :) hehehehe :) Here are the pics from it :)

 

The second one is kind of exciting :) It looks like the placenta is attaching to the top of my uterus :) Which previous pregnancies have been in the front... which SUCKS... cause you can't feel the baby move that early on and you can't feel very hard kicks until they are MUCH older, etc. Kaitlin used to just bury her feet in under my ribs, and Em I could feel roll alot, but not a ton of kicks :) I can't wait honestly I LOVE feeling the baby move :)

10 Weeks :)

Thought a video would be neat to share this time around :) It's amazing that some so tiny I can now find a heartbeat on everynight with little to no problems :)
