Baby Shower !

 

Ashley threw a wonderful local baby shower!! She decorated it with an awesome diaper cake! Along with some of the cutest froggie outfits! Not to mention the farro salad YUM and cake!

Then we played some crazy games, lol ;) I have to say I wouldn't think that I would have liked the diaper smelling game better than another one... but the lets stick the expecting mom's hand in GOO was not fun... okay maybe a little fun.. but still...lol :)

And ofcourse there were gifts :)  All sorts of frog things and boy things and just fun things :) Thank you again Ashley for throwing me a shower! And Thanks to Sarah for driving me! (I was still sick some and getting dizzy with sinus issues)

When I got home Emilie wanted to help me unwrap gifts :) lol. So she tore into them... She didn't always know what the items were used for however, lol...

You CAN'T Miss these Grandma!

So you hear Em's voice and then Nathan gives me a nice swift kick on the left side :) It's a little ways in around 14 seconds

This wiggle worm doesn't stop most of the evening when he's in a good position (not feet down and not behind my placenta).

In this next one same side around 9ish seconds is the hardest kick caught on camera I think :)

Emilie hasn't tried finding Nathan since he was ALOT smaller ;) Today just happened to be the first time I've thought about it... Here's the videos of it :)

First comes the gel ofcourse. We have been using Aloe Gel :) 

Then comes the serious hunting of the heartbeat :)

And her telling me we are all done now.

Once she felt/heard him move she was no longer interested in the doppler. She did pick up the heartbeat a few times but didn't leave it long enough to register anything, lol.

27 week Ultrasound :)

Baby boy is measuring again ahead... or rather where I think he's supposed to be... so honestly from now on in my head we are a week ahead... and I'm betting I will be going into labor on my own since the induction date is probably going to be AFTER when I think my due date is. It's not my docs fault she has to go by the ultrasounds that were early on... I honestly sort of blame the techs cause it seemed neither really were comfortable in what they were doing. 

Every ultrasound SINCE he's been where I thought we were... so ya... enough said :) 

They tried another 3d... but like Em he's uncooperative, lol. His hands are always in his face or he's not in a good position, but the good news is that  I go back in few weeks and we will try again :) 

He's measuring 2lbs 18oz :) And he's still a boy ;)
